Default Front Y Pipe

Will the front Y pipe off of a 84 - 85 fit on a 90. What modifications need to be done? The 84 - 85 has no precats. I would like to keep the main cat. Will this Y pipe bolt up to the stock cat or will I need to change it to an 84 - 85 also? If I did this would that cat bolt to the rear Y?

I bought mine from Mid America for about $200. Ecklers sells one that has a CARB exemption, when used with thier cat. I think it may be Dynomax.
This is a good mod for our cars. Don't be surprized when you get a code 32 error. The reduced back pressure causes it, but it doesn't hurt any thing. It is a PITA to look at the dash light. If you have a chip burned you can get that function turned off. I am waiting until I get a little more serious with my mods to have one burned.
