Man..pulling evap sucks!
I decided my AC just wasn't up to par...so I pulled the evaporator this morning. The biggest pain was pulling the frame bolt from the hood latch support brace mount. There is almost no room between the exhaust manifold and the bolt...and Chevy put lock tite on that bolt so it wouldn't come out...man what a pain! :mad
I think I might leave that one out until I pull the motor next year. There is two more there...think it will hurt anything?:confused:
Oh, BTW...the evaporator was full of crap so I completely removed it and washed it with red stuff and a brush. It's all nice and shiny now, I think it just migh work a little better. :yesnod:
