Looking for more ponies
Had my car dynoed about 6 weeks ago and last weekend went to the drag strip.
My car has 271 hp to tthe rear and only 238 torque (thought this was low)
Looking to put long tube headers on. What kind of a job am I looking at? Will I need to jack the engine up etc. Also what else would you recommend? By the way the car did 13.651 1/4 mile

If you are going with Hooker long tubes you will need 2 O2 sensor bungs and you are going to have to jack the car up not the engine as far as you can get it. Bolt the headers up in place and mark where the O2's are going to go. Pull them back off and drill the holes then the bungs are going to have to be welded the hole you just drilled. After your headers are mounted, if you are useing your stock exhaust you will need to cut and splice a couple pieces of exhaust pipe in to conect it to the headers. Piece of cake..
