Default Help PCM FOR LESS TUNE

I had Bryan tune my 96 LT4 & set the timing back 4 degrees for nitrous from stock setting.I have a MSD digital 6 plus box & a MSD timing control box so I could turn the timing back up to stock or beyond.Heres the problem, I swear I think the cars pulls better with the timing retarded the 4 degrees. Is this possible???????

Hi,

I didn't tune you car so I can't say for sure (bryan would have done yours)

Its posssible as every car is different however theres no real way to tell without dynoing it or taking it to the track. I would take it to the track and see what type of difference it makes.

most bottle rockets do run better with timing pulled back...theoretical faster flame propagation or some such...but less is more for most
