High beam!!!

High beam!!!
I live in Louisiana and need to get my car inspected. But my high beam light on my '93 will not come on. I move to switch toward the steering wheel, but nothing happen. I do not even hear a clicking sound nothing. Any suggestion would be greatly appreicated.

Hi,
I just goy my first Vette a 93 6speed convertible with 30k 3 months ago...and had the same problem.
The stalk was jammed and could not be pulled back (it was like that when I got it) to engage the highbeams.
I had to have the column dissassembled (At a cost of $200) in labor to have the "pivot point" of the stalk replaced.
It turns out it wasn't the switch at the base of the stalk or anything like that
If it is the switch at the base of the stalk, its not too difficult of a repair. Unfortunately mine wasn't
I have come to the conclusion that owning a vette is not cheap. : (
