Soon, very soon. Fortunately the car's still up and running. When this block's completely done, I'll schedule installation. I think you're going to have a beast. I'm glad that it can drown out a Harley. They sound like crap compared to a good SBC anyway!

I am looking forward on hearing how your project performs.

I love the sound of a good running V-twin.

I hope that I have a beast, however, it is still well mannered, if I end up disappointed, I will pass it on to my oldest daughter. She should be getting her license this summer. However, she does not want a Vette she wants a 67-68 Mustang.

Nothing wrong with that. The most gorgeous Mustangs ever made were the '67-'68 fastbacks, IMO. I'd love to have back the 410" FE block '67fastback that I had back in the late '70s. All of the 'Stangs from their inception through 1970 are the best as far as I'm concerned. After that, I just continuously lost interest. I also had a '65 and a '69 fastback over the years. A '67 fastback w/ a C4 chassis and LTx drivetrain, now there's an idea!

Corvette Kid, that is what I want my next project car to be. Blown cobra motor, Cobra IRS, all wrapped up in 65-66 fastback. Man, 67-68s are sweet, but the swoop of the 65-66s FBs just get me going...

Sorry for the thread hi-jack Boatguy, congrats on the install and let us know how she runs for ya!

No problem, I agree with you that the 65-66 Fastback look cool. Too bad they were so slow!
