How much torque before rearend goes?
I have an 84 vette auto will be puting in a superram and 383.
How much power will the dana 36 handle?
I blew the rear end with the crossfire once already, the superram should twist it good.

There is no definite limit to how much it can handle, it could go with stock power levels if the conditions were right.

Every one I have broken, or seen broken, tears the teeth off the spider gears. If you are lucky, disassemble, clean and replace the 4 spiders and the rear is fine. If unlucky, the chicklets get caught between the ring gear and the case. That usually scraps the case.
