Hi all, I' a new Corvette owner and I need replacement heater and radiator hoses for a 1996 LT-1. Where can I buy quality hoses? I've found some for $40. 00 to $50.00 and don't mind paying if I'm getting good stuff.
Also one of the hoses by the tank has what appears to be some sort of inline check valve???

Look at Ecklers or Mid America Motorworks...
I have tried local parts places , they do not fit correctly...
The 5/8" hose with the check valve is just standard 5/8" heater hose. The 2 hoses off the surge tank are 3/4", but flare up to 1" where they connect to the tank, so you will have to order them. I got mine from dealer (he also supplied jar of vaseline for what they cost).
I bought a lower hose before from Discount VatoParts (Advanced, whatever)... fit just fine. That was 2-3 years ago though... they only stock ricer hood lights and plastic spinner hubcaps now.
Actually on some radiator hoses I have got the best price from the GM dealer rather than A/Z and others. Aminnich has got the good poop on the heater hoses. Charge on!
