I just flushed the brakes on my 90 and used Valvoline's SynPower synthetic brake fuid. It has a high dry boiling point and is compatible with all other fluids.

Default Switching back to DOT 3 from DOT 4.

I just replaced the Brake master cylinder, rotors and pads and put in the Dot 4 Syntec. I noticed the brakes are pulsating sometimes during hard braking or when reversing. I'm going to switch back to DOT 3 after reading the posts on this last week.

Find the recent thread, should be a couple pages down by now.

DOT4 is better for someone who races more and is willing to change more often, if not then DOT3 is just fine.

Valvoline Synpower is something you'll always find, but the Ford Heavy Duty is best among the DOT3's that I know of. I believe some stores will carry it behind the counter.

I use Valvoline Supersyn. I'm on my second quart. With speed bleeders, its quick and easy so I do it often.

Just installed speed bleeders and ATE Super Blue fluid this w/e in my car. I like this fluid since you can easily tell the difference between the old fluid when flushing. I ordered it from raceshopper.com. It's working great. You can see some ratings and prices of various choices at the very bottom of this page: http://www.bobbyarchermotorsports.com/pdf_2848_3.pdf

This stuff is fantastic...doesn't absorb moisture, burn off or loose efficiency under hard braking.

I used to get one 650 mile wekend on the dragon, since using this stuff, I get three before I need to flush
