Assy Wire Color Code

Hey, Need to know what wire scheme (color) is the assy wire for power on (not constant 12v) under the dash, by the bottom of the steering columb. 87 C4

If all else fails, there is always the FSM. Mine is a different year so I wouldn't trust it to be the same.

Not sure I understand the question vinnie-to power up what, cause I think there are more than one specific color.In fact I think there are several.

Probe the wires with a test light. Pink or orange may help you.

CFI - have a helms,,,, as you normally state to everyone.... but am at work and trying to layout design.

Guys, sorry for maybe not being long-winded enought. This is for 2 gauges, their lighting, which i want to be on all the time AFTER the car starts. Not looking for constant 12v.

Pink or Orange helps - yea i know to probe, but being old and lazy.... who can blame me at this point...

I believe orange-at least that goes to the IP cluster-and one things for sure-it only comes on with the ignition-and off with it.

Thanks bud, i imagine that should have no adverse effects on the cluster adding 2 gauge lights to it.

I really doubt it-the amperage is small.
