Suspension Bussings Questions...

I just did the insulator bushings for the rear leaf spring, and I noticed a huge difference in handling. I want to move on to the rest of my suspension. I know there are suspension rebuild kits, but I do not think I need to do every single bushing. Offhand, can anyone recommend which suspension bushings are most important to change?

I just replaced them all with poly bushing from energy suspension. It's a pain but well worth it.

Just change them all and know they are all the same age and use.

All bushings replaced with poly on my '86. Not too bad a job.Very well worth the effort.

you'd better change the rest pretty quick. putting new bushings on individual parts puts increased pressure and accelerates wear on the rest of the system--especially if the new ones are poly. it is possible to cause some severe handling problems or part failure.
