On the 92 the fuse is in the Auxiliary fuse box located under the dash after you remove the carpet knee hush panel.
The fuse is marked B CONV PL and the lighter is the only thing on it.
The fuse is fed through one of the fusable links located under the battery. If it is not the fuse, check the fusable link.

Jerris- I have looked under the driver side dash for the Auxiliary fuse box. Where is it located under the dash?

Once you remove the carpet/plastic hush panel from under the dash the two aux fuse boxes just hang on wires under there. They may be tucked up behind other wires but they should be able to be pulled down as they have longer wires.

Didn't your mother tell you that smoking would stunt your growth? You don't need that thing anyway.

Can anyone tell my where all the screws are to remove the panel? Apparently removing the two 7mm screws near the light aren't enough

Are you stating that replacing this single fuse ALSO fixed your power door locks as well? I read ealier that someone stated this fuse only powered the lighter.

Default Cigarette lighter

Hi All,
I have a 92 couple from the original non smoking owner with a cigarette lighter not working. I have power there and the element gets hot but, you have to hold it in for it to work. It won't stay in and pop out.The element looks brand new so, is it the element or the housing.
Thanks for any help
