Default Power #'s

Has anyone dynoed a c4 with a turbo/or twins....im was just wondering what it put down, see, im considering a zr1, but im starting to think i could buy a 92-5' vette with a six speed...good condition, throw a turbo or two at it for about the same price, and have a much faster car...still no zr1, even if faster, but hey we cant have everything...id appreciate it if someone could give some #'s, and how much money was involved....

thanks

For that kind of cash you might be able to get a C4 with a supercharger. Or you could just go with nitrous on the ZR1 if you can find one for $20k.

Callaway TT with blazing hot intercoolers.

If you really want go fast...go with the force inducted C5.

I have an '85 with a single turbo. With the cost of the car and improvements (everything from stereo to brake system to turbo) I think I have around 20k into it. Frankly, I don't remember everything I have done unless I go back and look at receipts. The power and torque are 361 and 497 to the rear wheels. It was a frustrating process. It is fun now, but I agree that it would probably be easier and more powerful to get an older c-5 and put a blower on it.

Here is my 93 supercharged old setup. 1st initial dyno pull

Cost to much to get high hp on the LTxx vette. Better off go buy a good condition C5 and save every penny for the Supercharger or turbo. The LSxx motor are very responsive to forced induction. They make 500+hp just 5psi of boost.

Why are you stuck on turbos? Build the motor and spray it. 450RWHP no problem and A LOT less than turbos or SCs. Just my .02. I am on that path now....soon to be 425RWHP.
