Auto guys. Shifter questions
What are you guys doing for shifters out there? I was searching for some info and nothing really turned up. I saw something about modifying a Camaro shifter but it didn't really go into detail.
So what cha got and how did you modify it? Thanks

I took a '98 trans-am shifter, and modified it for my '85.It's more like a ratchet shifter than our 'gate' type. Not much to it, just had to change where the cables connected, and modify the console a bit. Went with a shift **** that looks like a manual shift ****, and since I had to remove the shift indicator, it looks just like a manual shift car when you look at it...If I can get my camera to work, I take a few shots....
