Changed Oil today, running rough now.

I changed the oil today, used mobil, 10w-30, purolator filter. It use to run smooth now its a little rough, especially when I'm stopped. Does anyone know what they problem might be? Thanks, Suke.

Oh yea, its a '95 LT1 automatic.

My only thought would be that changing the oil might have lossened up some sludge in there. You did have Mobil 1 in there before??

It's always been using Mobil 1. When I drained the old oil, it was pretty black... maybe I should put some additive like Lucas?

Likely little connection between the new oil and running rough unless in the process of changing the oil, you in advertently dislodged an electrical connection or some other such thing.

Recheck the areas in which you worked

Well, I also changed my rear brakes, added a new resoviour and cap, and removed old coolant and put in new coolant. Along with running rough it is overheating.
