1986 Shifting problem
I am having a problem figuring out hwo to shift the car into overdrive when I am in 4th gear. I know this maybe be a dumb question to post but I didn't get an owners manual with the car so I have to order one. I tried to just press the button for the overdrive but nothing happened. Could someone please explain how this is done. Thank you so much!!!

Not to sure if this will help but I'll start it off. I have never owned a 4+3. My 86 FSM shows probable causes:
1. Insufficient lubricant
2. Speedometer Inop
3. Blown fuse...make sure to check first
4. Temerature guage inop
5. Solenoid inop
6. Solenoid check ball missing
7. Low pressure switch
8. Shift vavle inop
9. Pressure regulator vavle inop
10. Drive pin broken or missing in pump
Just a little info to think about. Maybe someone else can pinpoint this problem more accurately.

Test the gage fuse.
