Default what size do I need ? Exhaust ?

Well I had a running rich problem with my car and I think I have to replace my cats . I just got this form the auction site

http://www.madvet.com/shop?frame=3.36.971

( 2.5 size outlet ) to take care of the pre-cats and I would like to purchase a carsound main high-flow cat and need to figure out which one to get . I see from doing research on here that they go for around $ 60.00 but am confused to which one to buy do to the new front y-pipe . I haven't done any-thing to the rear part of the car as far as exhaust goes ( Its still stock ) . I hope to be replacing that in the near future so i would want to get a Carsound Cat that would work for a future upgrade on the rear side but still be able to use on the stock system .

Sorry If I'm rambling I'm tired and don't know much about these exhaust systems .

Thanks in advance , PatsFan

You need a 3" cat for it. There's some legit ebay vendors selling em for $50-60.

Weld that sumbitch on there, or to your old cat flange. Don't mess with those stupid band clamps.

so is that 3" by 3 " on the cat ? My rear y-pipe is 2.5 and that will still be ok ?

Thanks again , PatsFan

Yes, your rear Y pipe has a round 3" common pipe.
