...only in the monitor mode. And of course Datamaster cannot record in the live monitor mode. Is it the Record On button that needs to be pressed to record? Every time the Start button is pressed, it actuates the monitor mode, so I'm thinking leave the Start button alone.
Also, is there anything that indicates recording in progress? I've studied the User's Guide but it's kinda ambiguous.
Mighta figured it out on my own but didn't have a full charge on the laptop battery. Don't wanna use up all 20 free scans just figuring out the software.
I'm side by side with you. I just started playing around with this and some other programs about week or so ago and what I remember is that I could not get it to do anything until I presses the record button. I did not want to burn all the runs also figuring it out. Kinda hard to come up to speed in this situation. Guess I'll watch what kind of responces you get.
I had some success by toggling back and forth between buttons during a run. Didn't know when exactly it was recording, but I did have something when I got back. Also, it appears to be recording in the monitoring mode. At least it never left the live monitor mode (I don't think), yet I had lotsa data when I got back home.
