A lot depend on duration, overlap, if its installed advanced etc...& rear end gear ratio,,,
I am running 3.73 & use a Vigilante 9" 2800 converter.. & drag race a lot, but the converter still locks up on the highway..
Be sure to get an aftermarket trans cooler to run with your stock one as a 2800 converter WILL cause the trans to run hotter..

So what about the coolier line going to the radiator, that won't do enough? I had plans on running a 3.42 rear end with a 700R4. I guess a B&M converters are ok and what about TCI's??
