Did a search but not much revealed. I know years ago reading on the various differences in the C4 front suspension throughtout the years but can't find my notes on them.
In the process I has hoping to get rid of my front wheel spacers (1985) I have installed that facilitate the zr1 rims not rubbing on the inner fender well.
I seem to remember 1988+ C4s not needing these spacers?
88 got a complete redesign of the front suspension based on information gleaned from the Corvette Challenge series. No parts interchange in front between the 2 suspensions (84-87 and 88-96), unless you want to do a complete rebuild of the front.
They were also responding to complaints about the ride harshness, and found they could soften the ride and maintain handling by altering the front swaybars (in geometry and size).
Wheel offset was also changed, from 38mm to 56mm for the 9.5" rim.

I'm pretty sure that at minimum that A-arms and splindles (and brake components) would have to be changed. I'm not sure if the same mounting brackets could be used or not. Someone will know, I feel sure.
