Default Signal help please

Just got my 85 back from being painted. More on that later. My main concern is that I had a tail light out and no signals. I really would rather fix it now rather than go back to the idiots that sent the car back to me this way. The tail light was most likely ready to be changed since the bulb broke taking out. Got that done and all lights work now. The 4 ways are ok, but the signals (both sides) work unbelievably slow and not at all when the lights are on. I changed the flasher and that didn't help. Any ideas? Thanks!

This sounds like a bad ground. Check the ground to the chassis inside the drivers wheel well.

Is it a cable or just a single wire screwed there?

Just got the left side working by adjusting the bulb. I changed the 3 main bulbs on the right side and was sure I found the problem when I found one spinning in the socket. Changed but didnt solve the problem. Still looking.

after a lot of checking, I finally found a front socket that was bad. A little adjustment including a paper clip and all is well again. Thanks for the advise.
