3:54 Gears
I have 3:54 gears on my 86 Automatic Vette. I've noticed that its harder to get the car rolling from a dead stop. Press too hard on the gas and the car will buck you as its starts going. I had the 2: something gears in there before and it was very smooth when I accelerated from a dead start. Is this normal when adding 3:54 gears to a car. I also have changed the intake to the Superram intake so I know the throttle cable has been rerouted from its original position. Any one experience this problem?

wow... that does not sound good.
but it sounds more like a superram related problem. I would check to be sure there were no vacuum leaks and that the throttle cable is not bound up in some way. vacuum leaks are quite common with the SR if the parts are not fitted right.

thats SR problem, trust me when i switched to SR i lost tons of low end torque but i do have a minor vaccum leak in upper SR plenum, may be that causes BS, i think 3.54 gears are much better in both perf world and driving on highway. I do have 3.54 gears too. Check for vaccum leak.
