Default Blowing air

Alright, I just recharged the Air conditioner in my 85' coupe. I found a couple problems with it that need to be fixed, becuase it immediatly leaked all the freon out as soon as I unhooked the hoses.

Only thing that plagues me is, when I turn on the AC. It barely blows air in the cabin, but also, the vents on the cowling just below the windsheild, are sucking in air for the heater at the same time.
Does anywhere know where the little valve is, so I can fix/replace/ break worse is at?

When I first read this, sounded like your Blower Motor was hooked up backwards. but if it's sucking air in from the outside cowling, that's normal - except at max. Then, a door over on the passengers side footwell is sucked shut by a vacuum solenoid and it recirculates inside air. Remove the hush panel to find it - line is usually orange - make sure it hasn't fallen off the solenoid.

Thanks, yeah its doing it with it at full blast. I just wanted to find out if someone else knew exactly where it was so I didn't have to tear out the entire dash trying to find the dang thing.
Thanks again
