Default Half shaft noise

Have a creeking noise, that appears to be coming from the Driver's side half shaft. Freinds have told me it sounds like u-joint, maybe needle bearings? Is the u-joint, spindle, rear bearing, not sure. Any sugguests and or hints in remove/replace for this type of a problem? Any recommendations on parts(brands) on bearings or u-joints?
Any help greatly apreciated.

Do not get brute force u-joints.

I had that. Pour some motor oil into an empty spray bottle. Get under the car and spray some motor oil onto the 4 half shaft u-joints. Get in the car and drive. If the noise went away or it changed, it's the u-joints.

If you do the job yourself, the instructions in scorp508's post are good, only don't remove the one pointing to the camber bolt. Remove the bolt on the other end of that link instead and you won't have to worry about the adjustment.
