carb kit?
There's one of the guys that I work with who says that he has a kit to switch my vette from the crossfire fuel injection to a carb. Has anyone heard of this and if so how well does it work?

I know of no commercially available "kit". If he has done it, he may have amassed all the parts together, to do it again. If he hasn't done it before, then I doubt it will be 100% complete. Why would you consider such a "kit"? What would you hope to accomplish by going backward in technology? Are you building a race car?

He bragged of being able to push more ponies that way... I somewhat doubted him but all the cars that he has hopped up have smoked my vette no problem. I'm just looking for more power.

port CFI intake, Cam, 1.6RR's, 2" TBI's, a good set of heads and a little tuning....works wonders...if it's the stock shortblock should have forged pistons so don't be scared to hit it will a 100hp shot of nitrous...
