L98 rebuild
Anyone done a rebuild on an L98 that could point me to a parts list or let me know if there is anything special about this engine.
Friend of mine wants me to help(do) his engine and I have not done an L98 before

Not really, beneath the intake it's just a small block Chevy like any other. If you pick up a rebuild manual or any book on building small block Chevys it should tell you all you need to know.

1987 L98 engine specifications??
Can someone point me to where I can find the L98 engine specifications? Or just tell me what type of heads are on this engine, valve size, vortec, etc? Anyone know what the stock cam profile is? How about piston type....flat or dished?
Does it have a roller cam in it or hydraulic?
I have found that the stock CR was 9.5:1...is this correct?
