Cool down button
I have 89 convertable and less then a month ago on the a/c panel the cool down button doesnt work now, will not lower the the heat, it now stuck on 90,
if i remove the battery cable from the post and reattach it, will this knock the a/c back to a default reading or will it stay the same,

Have seen those related problems. Clean the connector on the rear of the controller. You might get lucky. 
If that doesn't work might be bad solder connection inside the controller or you may just need a new one. I have seen some posts for the internal bad connections. Good luck.
