While reinstalling my 58mm ASM TB I must have pulled on the TB to hard because it's now to long. I can make the cable longer by pushing in the adjuster button but I can't figure out how to make the cable shorter. ???
Service manual page 5E2-105 says to "unlock throttle body cable adjuster by pulling up the locking tab" Well I don't see a locking tab as shown in the picture. Picture shows a locking tab but I have a button!!

That is the button to release the cable. They can be a little hard to push I used some PB Blaster and a lot of pressure but it will release. It is spring loaded and after just push the pedal to the floor to adjust it.
