Default Need Help Bleeding Cooling System!!

After changing all my hoses, I am refilling with coolant. I have removed both bleeder screws, but I am only getting coolant coming out of the throttle bottle bleeder valve. It sounds like it is passing gas, which I guess is exactly what it is doing. I never got a good stream, but the sound of air coming out stopped. So I tightened that one down, and refilled.

Now, even with the fluid topped off, I am getting nothing out off the thermostat housing bleeder. What am I missing here? I really want to do this right.

hm... run it with the surge tank cap off. That should help it suck the coolant into the engine. and you will need to keep filling until there is enough in their... it's a strange system!!! But it does work!

If you keep having problems getting all the air out, we have this cool vacum filler at work. You get a bucket of coolant hook an air line to it and it sucks all the air out. Then you turn the air off and release the coolant. It sucks it right in and works great. Never used it on a Vette though.
