Default Remote Hatch Release 95 Coupe

For no apparant reason after replacing the battery this spring my remote hatch release has been acting funny, opening the hatch at will, even with the vehicle in motion. I have removed the fuse but would like to know if anyone else has experienced this. I am thinking a faulty relay.....comments. Anyone know the location of said relay, I would like to have some feedback prior to bringing my vehicle in to the local GM shop.

Thanks

Frank

You're cruising down the road and you hear a little pop, then all of a sudden the exhaust sounds 10x cooler. I've been there. My passenger side window doesn't have the greatest seal so I had some water get in a couple of times. It made my hatch randomly pop, my doors would automatically lock, and my windows would refuse to stay down. I wanted to perform an exorcism on the car. If no one can tell which relay, I'll look in my manuals this afternoon for it. Wait, I didn't even look to see what year your car was. If it's an LT1 car I'll look in my manual for you.

The relay is located behind the Rear cargo trim panel, along with a solenoid & a hatch ajar switch.

There is a storage bracket handle for the top that has to be pryed off.
There's a few screws to remove for the rear trim.

I think the relay is on the right of the locking mechanism, looking fwd & the other 2 are on the left.
