Default '88 tappered plug or not?

I'm having trouble picking up the right plug. Some of the plug books list a tappered plug and some don't.

Is that a tappered plug? Or normal, with the washer?

I've got a '90, L98 with aluminum heads and the spark plug specs are as follows. 5/8" hex, 14MM thread, 3/4" reach, std gasket seat, the AC spark plugs use a projected tip. The cast iron heads are using the same spec accept for the reach, which 0.706". Check out www.sparkplugs.com. Very good site.

You are correct. I had trouble finding plugs for my 88, nobody had them. They kept trying to sell me the short ones for the cast iron heads. I had the Chevy dealer order me a set of Delco's. I never go there for parts, it was weird.
