Default Anyone Using Rhoads Hydra-Solid Cam & Lifters?

Just thought I'd ask if any of you 84-86 guys have run this cam/lifter combo on their vette or if anyone else has run it on another vehicle.
The question has been asked before on the CF, but with no response.
The theory sounds great, but information on it is hard to come by. I have e-mailed Rhoads for more info, but thought I'd ask if anyone on here has used the 'Hydra-solid cam/lifter combo. I have used their regular variable lifters in the past and found them to work as advertised with zero problems. I kinda liked the 'tick' as well. Whilst obviously not for everyone, they worked for me!
Although these Hydra-solid lifters apparently don't tick.
I always like to think if something sounds too good to be true, it usually is. However, I was told this about the regular Rhoads lifters and proved the theory wrong, - They did work! Thats not to say the Hydra-Solid would work better than a perfectly matched cam to a particular combination, if it works well at all, its an interesting product to say the least. Their 'new' OE type hydraulic roller lifters seem to be getting a bit of praise as well in delivering the goods.
What do you guys think?

I'd love to hear how that set-up performs. You might try asking on www.thirdgen.org, those guys are a bit more adventurous than your average Corvette owner.
