Has anyone had experience with YUKON brand gears.? I am looking to get a set of the 3.54 for my 3.07 carrier.

Yeah, read the 4x4forum links I posted there. Yukon makes more boxes than gears.
Have the parts guy open the box and physically check the gears before shipping, that's the only sure way to get what you want.
I would avoid ordering from Randys Ring/Pinion too. My first hand experience, is their sales&shipping department is full of idiots.

I decided to use a 2.73 carrier and go with richmond D36 3.54 THICK ring and pinion and replace my existing 3.07 carrier/gears. Richmond is rated better. thanks.

FWIW, I ordered 3:73 Yukon's, a posi unit and a master install kit from Randy's...I had them shipped directly to my installer...everything arrived as ordered and on time...the install went smooth as silk and they've been in for about 2 years now...over 150 pases at the drag strip and no whine on the highway...

Use it as much as I can in good summer weather, back and forth to work, and on weekends for cruises. about 5000 miles per year.
