95' Auto. Trans. Longevity Question
What could one expect on the average for an automatic trans. to last under normal driving conditions? Not raced, serviced regularly etc.?
I know a manual is good for about 100K.

I bought my 90 with 112k so I don't know how it was cared for. At 125k
it went.

Under normal use the 3-4 pack normally goes out first. Depending on the clearance it had when it left the factory, 50k-150k is the spread. Not a very good answer to your question, but the best i can give.

A buddy who owns a tranny shop says anything over 50k is a bonus, but I got 194,000 out of the one in my Camaro before the front pump started whining. It hasn't gone out completely yet, but it can't be long now!

Mine went bad at about 75,000. I had it rebuilt at the dealer and added a shift kit and TC.

Pete K should know. My 95 has 50,000 on the clock and the auto transmission shift as if it were new. No further experience.

My '93's went at 55,000 miles. I'm sure an external tranny cooler would have made it last a bit longer in the Arizona heat.

I have a '96 LT1 / auto that had 147K before I changed it . Not because it was bad, but because I was doing an engine change.

I got 183,000 miles out of mine before it stopped working. I had 2 filter/fluid changes in its lifetime.
