Well I just had my Brake Power Booster changed, and I thought all my problems were over, but...............I went for a long drive today, and when I got near home I noticed that my brakes were dragging. So much that if I put it in neutral, it stopped by itself .I called the shop that installed it and they said to bring it back, but I dreaded driving it there. So I read up on the search function, and learned how to adjust my booster push rod.I discovered that the adjustment could be made from the master cylinder side of the firewall, cool, I can handle that. It had four threads showing on the bolt on the end of the rod, so I screwed it in til only 2 were showing, and went for a ride. No more dragging........ thanks forum members. I couldn't get a good grip on the rod at first to hold it from turning while I turned the bolt, my hands are shot. So I used a squeegee and a Seadoo battery against the seat to depress the brake pedal. This pushed it out about an inch where I could get a good grip with long pliers. That bolt is hard to turn, I wonder why? Locktite? Anyway, this is the first time I have been able to activate my anti-lock brakes since I owned the car. I feel dumb for letting it go so long but I had no reference point since they were like that (hard) when I bought it. Dumb and Happy, that me

GREAT!.....BUT, DID THE BOOSTER CHECK GOOD FOR VACUUM WHEN YOU RAN TESTS ON IT?
There is a adjustment on the booster, where it connects to the master cyl., it needs to be adjusted. There are instructions for adjusting this nut in the box the booster came in. Just take it back to the skop that did the install and have them do it, it is a commom problem w/new boosters.
