Air Speed Sensor problem? On my 92'
Hi guys, I'm having engine problems and I need help. My 92 has a surging, inconsistent acceleration at partial throttle. The car runs like a scalded dog at WOT. After checking for vacuum leaks, pulling no error codes and reading other posts, I unplugged my air speed sensor in my intake duct. The car runs fine that way, so I bought a new air speed sensor and the car runs like crap again a partial throttle. What's up!?
I have to add that I have new plug wires, plugs,fuel filter, and fuel is at 44psi and holds for 30 mins. after car is shut down.

I believe you are describing the IAT (intake air tempature) sensor. You probably need to run it with a scan tool to see what the computer is reading when it surges.
