USB Driver help for Moates Flash & Burn
Okay more fun. Moates has its own driver for his Flash-n- Burn chip programer. The problem is that my Windows XP found its own driver for the device, and I beleive it is causing bad readings when I read the chips.
I tried uninstaling the driver from the Hardware manager and aiming the update manager towards the downloaded Moates driver, but the installer ultimately says it "can't find a better driver for the device installed"
I beleive it is because Moates driver is not "signed" by Windows...
Thanks for the help... I feel like I'm sooo close....
I used a different computer and was able to install driver correctly.
Still have same problem. I am able to read my chip and save it as a bin file. I can open it in tunerpro, but when I open the timing map, it is completely random and makes no sense.
I have two chips I am trying, both with same results....
When I open a downloaded bin, everything looks fine.
Is there a Doctor in the house?
