Ok all you C4 gurus, here is a funny one for ya. I have an 88 with manual AC system, it was blowing the fuse when I would change the blower speed to level 2. I traced the problem down to the blower switch, no problem right? I went to the dealer, got a new one for $15, same part #, everything is good. I get home, install it, and that's when I find out that it's different! The switch positions are different from my original so they don't cooridinate with the markings on the faceplate. The new switch goes from about a 10 o'clock position to 2 o'clock, where the original was from 12 o'clock to 3 o'clock It works fine, but it doesn't look so good if you know what I mean
So, anybody have any ideas Can I get an updated faceplate, or am I just going to be stuck with this forever???
Couldn't find a part number at the ac delco site so I've got to wonder if you've got the right one. You might try used from Contermporary
Corvettes of maybe Corvette Central has a matching part. Doubt you're going to find a face plate.
