Is the light above the button on the A/C flashing? This is an indication of a stored code. Also, check the carpet on the passenger side and make sure it isn't wet at all. Might want to try defrost and see if any moisture appears on the inside of the winshield.

What type of vinegar is the smell? Balsamic, or apple cider vinegar? :confused:

The light was flashing before I reset the computer. It hasn't flashed yet this time. I just went out to check on the defroster, zero condensation, just hot air.

Assuming it starts blinking again do you remember how to check for the stored codes?

to enter diagnostic mode push and hold the fan up arrow and down arrow at the same time until the LCD shows -00 you are now in diagnostic mode and may select any parameter using the up or down arrows to see the value for that parameter press the fan auto button :cheers:
