When I changed my fuel pump I noticed that there was no gasket where the fuel filler bolted to the tank. Is that right? Are you supposed to put some gunk on it to seal it?
Just asking because now when I remove my gas cap there is no whoosh from the tank. (just from my wallet) Don't know if it just the cap or some sealing is required.
I have a gasket - I can get a picture and p/n for you on
request.
There was some issue with the o-rings when I ordered. Either
they were NLA, frightfully expensive or I was advised that they
are usually reuseable. Don't have them but I can provide the
p/n for these, too.
