Default UGH! Engine Needs Rebuild

OK. If you have been following my drama, I have a 1990 'vert. Car had a top-side oil leak, so I replaced the VC gaskets and while in there put on some 1.6RRs (thanks to the help from you guys). Car ran rough until we found a vaccuum line had been knocked off. Anyways, still had the burning oil problem, so I took to a friend and guess what? Crankcase pressure is blowing oil out of the dipstick. Soooo, I guess I'm looking at freshening up the engine. Any sponsors or good deals out there? Thanks! Ben

Are your plans made? Are you fixing it or stepping it up a notch?

I don't have any set-in-stone plans yet. I am going to keep the rebuild fairly mild with an emphasis on street fun/drivability. I already have a 2000 Z28 with 576rwhp/590rwtq for going fast, so I just want this to be a nice cruiser with SOME stones... I'm open to suggestions.

Hard to resist going 383. Even if you don't race it, they sure are enjoyable to drive.

Yah, considering the block will be .030 over regardless. Who makes a good, reasonably-priced rotating assembly?

Well, it looks like a 383 is in my near future. I will probably keep the TPI on it for now and upgrade later. Headers and mid-pipe too... Oh well, at least the Vette will be even more fun when done.
