Regular flat tappet pushrods ( non roller blocks) are about 7.8"

I needed shorter pushrods after my head cam install and ended up with 7.15s. Stock was about 7.2"

YUP, 7.2 for a stock roller cam engine w/ 1.5 rockers. When we went to 1.6 rockers on a 383 build 7.15 length worked real well to help put the roller tip back on the middle of the valve tip. (travel wise)

i guess then the best idea is to get a pushrod length checker to find ou for sure before something bad happens. that's the last thing i want after this build.
