hello everyone,
i owned my 84 for about a month now and needed to replace the rear y pipe and mufflers. the origianl owner (I am 3rd) replaced the system using the mufflers from an 85. now the ground cleareance from the plates where the y meets the converter is about 4 1/2 inches and the lowest point where the y turns to the mufflers is 3 inches before going uphill to the mufler hangers.
is this normal or could the y pipe have be defective?
