I think I may be having a senior moment, but can't remember how this thing is supposed to work. Here's my problem. I have had the car in the garage since Memorial Day weekend with the top off and the windows down and when I glanced inside the other day I did not see the SECURITY light flashing like I remember it used to. The doors where locked with the power lock switch so it should of set. So I decided to test it to see if the module was still working or if it finally crapped out, I mean it is an 85 after all. I reached in and unlocked the doors using the power lock switch, opened the door and the horns immediately started blarring, so it seems to still work.
So does the SECURITY light flash when the car is locked up or am I dreaming that it once did?

You're dreaming if you thought it flashed after the last door closed. When you open a door, the Security light flashes to remind you to arm the system. Hit the power door lock button to lock and light should glow steadily, telling you the system is armed. Once the last door closes, the system is activated and the Security light goes out.
