Default Torque specs Throttle body

Hi all, I am a new member and posted my first query a couple days ago. I realize I did it a bit wrong!! and not many members would have read it. I need the torque specs for the throttle body bolts to plenum. One GM manual says 18 foot lb. another says 8 - 18 inch pounds. The local GM dealer thinks it is foot pounds as I do-(I got it wrong in my first post)
Any help would be appreciated.

I don't have a book for your year and mine is not the same so I can't say for sure. But my "quess" would be foot pounds. 8 - 18 inch pounds you can dang near do with your fingers. I'll take a look in my garage and see if one of my books say anytrhing about it.

You must go with the foot pounds and be careful not to over tighten them. Inch pounds will more than likely leave you with a leak!

Yhanks, matt

Ok, I just checked my helm, my chelton <sp?> and my hans manual all tell me for an LT-1 (what I have) it's 19 foot pounds.

Yours should be the same. So go with the 18 foot pounds.
