It shows 4007 pulses/Mile. I know the VSS sends 4000 (guess 4007 to be exact) so the ecm knows the actual speed. If you change this parameter, wouldn't that let me adjust for the gears I just recently put in the car?
I thought the pre-'94s could not be adjusted in the chip?
I went from 2.59 to 3.45, which is a 1.332 ratio, so if I change the 4007 pulses/Mile to 5337, wouldn't that let the ecm adjust itself without using an electronic speedo calibrator device spliced in the vss wire?
I tested it, and even though the speedo was unaffected (still quite off, I think the car was locking up at higher speeds, I wonder if this constant affects the ecm and operations, but not the ccm?
