Default Is it my imagination........

I just changed the fuel filter in my 92. looks like it was the orginal.

took it out for a test drive and it seemed to have more pep. Some times the mind plays games. Just wondering if it really had a impact.

I know where you're coming from. I swear my car runs better when it's clean and detailed. I really think the car knows I spent some time with it and it's happy.

Yes, now your pump is having an easier time pushing the fuel to the FPR/injectors. Your getting a better flow. A clogged fuel filter will make an engine run like crap. Now you could clean the TB/IAC for more pep.

TB = Throtle Body

IAC = Idle Air Control (I think)

I swear somebody could start a Corvette School and make a killing. My dumbazz would be the first one to sign up. Taking shop classes in high school was considered uncool. Too busy skirt chasing.

Yep. I went throught the same drill. A few more parts though. It seems when everthing is clean it runs much better.

One more thought. I know they should burn off but...

Clean the resistors / wires in the MAF with some throttle body cleaner very carefully.
