Default Header bolt question

I'm doing the install with 5/16 12 point ARP bolts. How important is it to have a 12 point socket (1/4 drive of course) vs using the 6 point. I'm having a hard time finding this socket in 12 pt which would be nice to grip the bolts best. I have the 12 pt wrench and it does well, but need the socket for some of the tricky ones, the 6 pt socket I have doesn't seem to have the same bite on the bolts.

Craftman then NAPA. If NAPA doesn't have it, you ran out of luck. You'll find it

I have one in my Stanley socket set ... Don't give up they are there. I love the 12 points...

Found one at Sears, no luck with NAPA.
