Default proper operating temperature range ('94 LT1 Auto)

What is the proper/desired operating temperature (coolant) for my '94 LT1 Auto?

I run around 200 after cleaning off the front of my radiator, but I see a huge range of opertating temperatures upon searching; anywhere from 165 - 215. I understand some people may be running a different thermostat. I have the stock thermostat.

With a stock thermostat, it will range from around 200 (driving)-230(idle). IMO

sounds Good. Don't forget it will heat up in stop/go traffic with the A/C off as the main fan won't come on until 227-228 and the auxillary fan 236-237. All normal stuff.
