Hello all I have a problem with my 94 corvette. I found the cigarette fused burned out so I replaced it All of a sudden my car starts to misfire and I can smell the gas not burning right. It smells very rich. I also saw the cat glowing red hot The car run fine until I replaced the fuse. If anyone has an idea what I did please let me know.
I just found the chev service dept called and told me the car lost two fuel injectors, too replace the two and clean the others it is going to cost me about $500.00 thanks to all of you that tried to help me with this problem

The 2 issues are not related in my opinion, just a coincidence. The glowing cat is probably clogged as Kalister1 said. But just to be sure, check all the fuses that may have any bearing on the running of the engine, just on the off chance.
hm... thinking... check the Fuel Pressure Regulator. When they fail, the pressure goes WAY up, and fuel gets dumped into the intake through the little vacuum hose. Ask me how I know this.
